Printing United, a highly anticipated event in the printing industry, took place just last month in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The tradeshow was a vibrant hub for attendees and exhibitors, offering three full days filled with a unique variety of solutions for the sign, print, and garment industries. From equipment and software to products and the latest trends, our teams were ready to show how Grimco Works For You.
The Kickoff
A pre-show mixer kicked off Printing United, bringing together the newly merged teams of Grimco and TubeliteDenco. With a lot of new faces meeting for the first time, there was excitement in the air. The gathering emphasized one of Grimco’s main pillars, its People, and its core values of unity and collaboration, showcasing the endless possibilities this partnership brings. The event was a great precursor of how the teams at Grimco and TubeliteDenco working together are substantially greater than doing business separately, learning and growing from each other.
The Booths
Grimco made its mark on Printing United by presenting at three separate booth locations, encompassing most of Hall C, so a Grimco booth was around almost every corner. These booths were designed to cater to several aspects of the sign, print, and garment industries, providing attendees with a comprehensive look at Grimco's full capabilities and product offerings.
Grimco Sign & Print Booth: This booth served as a centralized hub for all aspects related to signage and wide-format printing. Attendees had the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of equipment and consumable products including top-of-the-line printers from HP and EPSON, substrates – spotlighting some of Grimco’s Exclusives – inks, and flatbed cutting solutions from Summa. Visitors were also treated to coffee and pastries, generously sponsored by Palram. This booth was an ideal stop at Printing United for those looking to take their signage and printing projects to the next level.
TubeliteDenco Booth: Grimco and TubeliteDenco partnered to present a cohesive experience for attendees, focusing on all facets of signage and wide-format printing. Reps from both teams supported one another throughout the show at all three booths, adding that extra level of customer service both strive for. This unified approach offered attendees the opportunity to discover innovative products and solutions designed to craft outstanding signage.
Grimco Garment Decoration Booth: With this booth, Grimco fully introduced its Garment Division to the industry, displaying its extensive expertise and product offering in decorated apparel. From cutting-edge printing techniques including screen, direct to garment and direct to film, to high-quality ink and garment decoration materials, this booth was a hotspot for those interested in the world of custom clothing and personalization.
The Apparel Zone Sponsored by Grimco
Grimco's involvement in Printing United didn't stop there! In addition to the three booths present, Grimco proudly sponsored the Screen Printing section of the Apparel Zone. This sponsorship allowed attendees to participate in a hands-on learning experience instructed by long-time industry experts from Avient and ROQ. The live presentation taught attendees the step-by-step process of how to screen print by hand, creating their own t-shirt souvenir. A ROQ press was also featured, demonstrating the automated capabilities and the innovative technologies of ink additives and how they can level up your final print.
Printing United 2023 was a huge success thanks to all our visitors, partnering exhibitors, and trusted team members. The message of Grimco Works For You was echoed throughout the tradeshow, highlighting all the ways Grimco supports our customers to help grow their businesses, which in the end, is our ultimate goal. The show was also a wonderful opportunity to introduce our unified Grimco and TubeliteDenco teams and we look forward to seeing everyone in Las Vegas on September 10-12, 2024 for Printing United 2024.
